Nokia N900 FrontNokia N900 runs on Maemo, an open ended operation system developed through Linux based technology. Expert acknowledge that the use of Maemo are basically the main draw to Nokia N900 as the said platform is considered as more open than Mac OS or Android as everyone can create an apps without prior approval. However it would still inflicted some risk as at some point user would like to have some guarantee for the applications they use.

The CPU used on this device is somewhat similar to that of iPhone that making it fast to maneuver. Nonetheless, complicated interfaces depicted on the desktop window switchers cause some drawbacks to it glowing potential. In order to execute any functions, it requires user to flick through multiple screen and this provides vast potential of selecting the wrong turn, thus slowing down the whole process.

For such a small device, Nokia N900 surely are bless with high screen resolution that provide vivid imagery all time. It is however equip with smaller actual surface area compared to its rivals and provide no multi touch for zooming and no portrait rotation mode.

One plausible aspect of Nokia N900 is the battery life that can go on for days even with heavy duty usage without a charge. Though it was portrayed as an internet related device rather than a phone, Nokia N900 could place other mobile devices in its product range in shameful position as it have an excellent camera capacity of 5 megapixels and built in dual-LED flash.
