Arguably Nokia N900 is a pocket netbook and not just mere phone. Accordingly, the Nokia N900 that is price domestically at RM2,280.00 weight 181 gram of 111 mm long x 60 mm width x 18 mm depth. It is equip with Arm Cortex A-8, 600MHz core processing unit (CPU), 256MB RAM, 32GB file storage capacity, 3.5 inch screen of 800 x 480 pixels resolution and connectivity via 3G, Bluetooth 2.0, proprietary USB connector and 802.11g Wi-Fi.
The CPU used on this device is somewhat similar to that of iPhone that making it fast to maneuver. Nonetheless, complicated interfaces depicted on the desktop window switchers cause some drawbacks to it glowing potential. In order to execute any functions, it requires user to flick through multiple screen and this provides vast potential of selecting the wrong turn, thus slowing down the whole process.
For such a small device, Nokia N900 surely are bless with high screen resolution that provide vivid imagery all time. It is however equip with smaller actual surface area compared to its rivals and provide no multi touch for zooming and no portrait rotation mode.
One plausible aspect of Nokia N900 is the battery life that can go on for days even with heavy duty usage without a charge. This is better compared to the battery life for rival smart phones that only lasted hours. Yet it would still be annoying especially while downloading large file from the internet or such as the WI-FI mechanism of the device would be abruptly snooze off due to the switching off the power saving mechanism of the device.
Though it was portrayed as an internet related device rather than a phone, Nokia N900 could place other mobile devices in its product range in shameful position as it have an excellent camera capacity of 5 megapixels and built in dual-LED flash. Needless to say, the camera will shines on a any trip you made to the beach.
