More Evidence That Verizon iPhone and White iPhone 4 Are Coming Soon

More Evidence That Verizon iPhone and White iPhone 4 Are On The Way: Clues relating to the release of a Verizon iPhone and white iPhone 4 are increasing slowly but surely. As of now the news is that two renowned contact management leaders - Ryla Teleservices and Teleperformance - have started heavy recruitment processes.

They are said to reportedly hunting for a large number of new customer support representatives for one of their unspecified wireless carrier clients. And the client is speculated to be Verizon Wireless with Apple Inc.

The selection procedures have begin in several US states including Texas, Georgia, California, Ohio, Utah and South Carolina. Factually, both - the iPhone creator and the Wireless network provider- Verizon have utilized the services of Teleperformance sometime in the past. Its expected the Lindon, Utah cell would even take care of computers, MP3 players and smartphones as well.

Though the staffing itself does not openly hints as meant for Apple or Verizon only, but their timing (immediate requirement of technical staff) does signal the need of employees for the twosome only. Fresno Bee described Ryla’s hiring requirements in Clovis, California as for a ,” Fortune 50 cellular/telecommunications company that expects to increase its marketing and sales.”

For Teleperformance’s recruitment, the Augusta Chronicle identified that the positions need to be filled in by “end of November” at any cost. This plainly suggest that the preparations have started to build upon an intensive month long (approx.)training session for the telecom customer service reps to start working independently by January – by when the Verizon iPhone must arrive.

In order to cater to the popularity that the not-in-existence-right-now Verizon iPhone has gained over, such massive customer care arrangements are obvious. Moreover, a minimum stock of 3-4 million CDMA iPhones for a period of 3 months is also certainly considered necessary.

It is unclear whether the update helps: GoT users notice any changes, but in the issue devoted to the topic at GoT yet few users reporting that the new firmware a solution. The same picture emerges from the topic on XDA-Developers. The Desire HD came out last week. The unit runs on Android 2.2 and a 4.3 “Super LCD with a resolution of 800×480 pixels. Netflix Is Down! Panic Ensues.

Netflix is reporting problems with its movie-rental service. It is a stroke of unfortunate timing for Netflix, whose stock price soared 13% today after a strong third-quarter earnings report.
People are freaking out, apparently. Google Trends says online searches for “Netflix login” and related terms have soared to “volcanic” levels.
“We’re aware of the issues that are occurring and are working diligently to get everything up and running again,” Netflix said on its Twitter account. “Thanks for your patience!”
In another unfortunately timed technical glitch, Deal Journal last week reported a brief outage that Yahoo.com experienced after news reports the company was being circled by potential suitors.
UPDATE: Deal Journal colleague Nick Wingfield writes that a Netflix spokeswoman “declined to provide an explanation for the outage, except to say that it was caused by an internal technical problem, not a hacker attack on the site.”
Wingfield says Netflix customers cannot access the company’s Web-video streaming service, nor can they place new orders for DVDs by mail.

Barnes & Noble Nook coming to Walmart October 24

Barnes & Noble has announced its Nook ereader device will go on sale at some 2,500 Walmart retail stores beginning “as soon as” October 24. The movie brings even more competition to the ereader market, which has seen the likes of Borders, Barnes & Noble, and Amazon.com slash prices and increase distribution of their ereader devices as the crucial end-of-year holiday retail season approaches. Walmart will be offering both the WiFi-only and 3G versions of the Nook, as well as offering online sales of the device. Some Walmart locations will also be setting up “Nook-branded eReading area” where customers get hands-on experience with the device.
“Sales of Nook devices continue to exceed our expectations, and we are thrilled to be able to partner with Walmart, one of the world’s greatest retailers, to expand the distribution of our award-winning Nook eBook Reader,” said Barns & Noble VP Chris Peifer, in a statement.
Walmart prides itself on offering lowest prices to customers, and there’s no word on exact Nook pricing at Barnes & Noble, but recently Walmart has been making deals with electronics makers like Apple where Walmart essentially matches prices available through other retail channels.
